In the article about Stephen Kings new book about the Shining sequel, Stephen king talks about being nervous on how the critics will critique his new book. The first part of the series was published when
he was 28, now he is 65. King is nervous about his new book because he is putting horror into his book and he has never really done that before. King said that he wants to make a more adult version of the book because over time as the book has gotten older so has the original audience of the previous book. King wants the audience to fall in love with the characters and be scared when the characters become scared. King has published over 50 novels over his time and admits the critics are kinder to him then we he started his career nearly 50 years ago.
I think you have summarized the article...however, slightly incorrectly. You say King hasn't put horror in his books before. That's pretty much all he has every done. More importantly, you don't discuss whether you agree with the idea that love creates horror. What are your thoughts on that topic?
